Hi,

please check the below:

1) Authorization.:if you are not authorized properly inform your basis.to give SAP_ALL access.

2) check for any filter in you info package.

3)with the help of abaper, check why you are not getting the data in infppackage in bw side.

Regards,

Revathi.

Hi,

I can create request and my psa ins full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A. if you run the info pacakge you will get the data to PSA.

you need to check the data source mange screen.

Thanks,

Hi Masoumeh,

If you are getting data in RSA3 then you should be a able to get data in PSA3 in BW. So ideally it could be a authorization issue. But if you are able to extract data for other datasources then I would hardly think that it will be a authorization issue. But still verify that by below:

1. trigger data load from BW system.

2. Go to Ecc and transaction SU53. Check if there are any authority related issue. Here mind that SU53 initially provide authorization data for user logged in but you can check for Bw user also by going to top menu under Authoriztion Values -> Other users

3. Next check if there are any dumps in ECC system in ST22 and SM21.

4. Also check in SM37 if there are any jobs running for you load.

5. Also check WE05 for any idocs received from BW system - with this you will know that BW system has communicated to your source system.

Just to let you know that SM58 have the trfcs running only when you have any data being sent to/from source system. For example, as soon as you trigger data load from BW system you will be able to see records flowing through SM58 after around 10 seconds. They will be visible and then gone after the jobs is processed in SM37. It could happen in bleep of an eye, so generally we check SM58 only if we expect there is some failure on communication.

You can check SM59 RFC communication too just to cross verify.

Thanks

Amit

Hi Masoumeh,

Can you tell me what you are looking for in SM58.

Instead you execute the TCode RSA3 with your custom DS and check for the Data , if you are getting the data as per logic and then extract it to BW using Infopackage..

Hi,

if you created the generic data source for the using funcaiton module.

ECC steps

- create the generic data source in RS02

- using the table/view/FM/info set query.

- check the same data soruce in RSA6

BW steps

- first check the source system connection in the BW system

- if source system conneciton is ok

- replicate the data source form ECC to BW

- select the source system -> right click -> select the replicate

- now you will give the data soruce technical for finding .

- then run the info pacakge for the datasoruce

- check the PSA data

- now create the DSO,cube,MP and query.

Thanks,

Phani.

Hi.

Please replicate following steps in order to get the data to BW.

  1. Select the data source in BW and replicate. After successful replication
  2. Create and Trigger the info pack with full update. Now the data should be there.

If any further questions. Pl follow the following End to end procedure.
