Please let me know

1.Can we post any goods movements for current period with out doing CKMLCP for previous Period.? if no, what are the issues we may face?

2. Valuation of material 000000001 in valuation area XXXX inconsistent

   The system determined an inconsistency in material 0000000001 in valuation
area XXXX for period 006. The valuation data contained in the material ledger
differ from that in the material master.

What are the causes for material Inconsistencies between valuation area and material ledger.

Hi, please check tx ckmc for the material to check the difference between master material and material ledger .

      Yes you can do...because your goods will be at standard price for the whole period...But you have to run CKMLCP  for previous period within current period otherwise next period will not be opened

   Valuation inconsistency may happen for many reasons....when have you got this ? If explain in details we can reply in better way

Now some more questions before I analyse and submit my views on the issue:

1. What is the price control and price determination indicator of that material

2. Have you activated actual costing and ML both if so what price determination you have defined in that valuation area/plant

3. Have you made any price change of that material during the period
