Tiles are not loaded for certain users in Launch pad

Dear Experts,

The UI component got upgraded to SP09 . After upgrade certain users are facing an issue in the launch pad.The tiles are not loaded properly.

If we create the copy of that user with new name and assign the same role then the launch pad is working for new user id.

Even if we delete and recreate the user with same name also its not working well.

For example, After upgrade the user 'TEST' facing an issue in launch page. Copy of user 'TEST' created as 'TEST1' (Same role/profile as 'TEST').

  1. For user TEST1 the launchpad is working fine as expected.
  2. Delete the user 'TEST' and re create the user id with same name 'TEST'.
  3. For user TEST the launchpad is not working.

Initially we thought that this is related to authorization issue. But if we create the copy of actual user it works fine.

Please suggest some solution to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Myil

Hi Myilraja,

Please clear the browser cache.

If it is authorization issue, you can take authorization trace in the transaction ST01.

Hi Masa,

Yes i have tested after clearing the browser cache.

It works copy of actual user with same profie (Roles & Authorization). But the lauchpad is not working for actual user.

Find the below error of actual user while accessing the launch page.

Hi Myil,

It could be cache relate issue. First, try to use report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE to clear cache.

Second, After updating UI component to SP09, pls check points mentioned to below link.

Also, similar issue after UI update to SP08.

Hope it helps.
