How to fill "System description" in SAPGUI 7.40 ?

Hi there,

i'm using new SAPGUI 7.40 with NWBC 5.0 and SAP UI Landscape Definition files.

I'm wondering how to fill the field system description ? Which XML tag i have to

maintain to show this information in SAPGUI ?

But System description field in SAPGUI stays empty. But Longtext description is filled in Comment field.

Any ideas ?

It should work according to your second try - description must be in the "Service" tag.

I am not sure, if it is the reason, but you are probably missing a slash at the end (they have it in the example screenshot on page 5). I am not sure, if it would work only with </Service>

And if you defined "description" and then it shows as empty, it means, it was set to empty somehow. Because if "description" is not provided, it should show the "name" as default value.

I'm facing same issue. I can't figure out, how to fill "System description" in SAPLOGON 7.40 too. Did you solved this issue?

Hi.

just type text into system description field.

Information ist stored in SAPUILandscape.xml then.

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common
