Production and consumption trekking

Hi Experts,

I would like to know multiple general scenarios to perform the functional testing of Production and consumption functionality in a manufacturing industry.

If any one knows about different possible scenarios used in a manufacturing industries to track production and consumption. It has elements like operators, work order, work center, operation types, operator log-in and log-out time tracker. I need to test its functionality thoroughly but dont have much idea as how does it work in real time in manufacturing industry.

Hi Krishnendu,

I have to perform functional testing for Production and Consumption functionality. I want to know the various possible business scenarios to test this functionality. The present flow of this functionality is- Production Operator logs in to the system...he punch in and start the operation on the floor..the work order is already created and assigned to the work centers and the operator is also assignd to the work centers...he takes breaks in between and at the end of the day he ends the operation. The total production quantity is being captured and the remaining quantity is being recorded saparately. This functionality has the integration with MM and PP as well. Now i want to know within this present flow if there can be some other possible scenarios to test its functionality and also over and above this for Production and Consumption what could be the other possible scenarios to test.
