Hi All,

Infoobject texts needs to display in F4 Help of portal screen .

Please check the below screen shots:

But texts are not displaying in F4 Help.

I need the below values in F4 Help.Could any one suggest to get these values in F4 help.

Hi Uma,

First of all, please make sure that texts are maintained and uploaded correctly.

Then check if the InfoProvider has the right configuration for the respective Characteristic. If not, you can change it for every individual InfoProvider using the "provider specific settings" for the respective Characteristic.

Hello Umakanth,

you need to change settings in the underlying infoprovider to fix it.

Goto the 0bbp_purgrp in the infoprovider(cube/dso) and right click on infoobject and click on 'provider specific properties'. Change display from text to key and text as medium text (option F from drop down). save your changes and activate the infoprovider. Now, goto query and run it and check now.

Hi Sai,

I am afraid of changing the info object since it has been used in many other info providers.Is there any solution to achieve this requirement.If not, changes to info object will it impact the other info providers?

Hi Uma,

you need to make these changes in the cube/dso on which the query is not in the infoobject. So, it will not have any impact for other infoproviders.

Hi,

we can see the text table only have the text for 50000081 but not for all others.

do one thning -> open the query designer -> select the purchsing group -> select the display as -> key and text - save it.

then run the portal and rsrt for the particular report.
