BPC component <->BW component dependency

Hi Experts

We are on BPC 10 800 SP007  ( EPM add-in 11)

BW component - 7.3 SP007

Now we are planning to update BPC to one of the latest SP (component) which is SP014

So I want to know where to check that with BW component - 7.3 SP007 till what SP level of BPC component can be upgraded to ..

Hello,

Go to Support Packages and Patches | SAP Support Portal -> Browse Download catalog -> SAP Application Components -> SAP BPC FOR SAP NETWEAVER -> then choose your version -> Entry by Component -> Bus. Plan. and Cons. ABAP -> SAP EPM BPC ABAP (Version) -> Support packages.

Thanks for that info but it does not solve my problem..

I wanted to know the dependency of BPC SP level (component) on BW SP Level(component)..

Can i installed BPC SP Level 15 with BW SP Level 07 ??

Hi,

BW SP Level 07 - not recommended... I get consistent results with BW SP Level 12 and BPC SP 14 (not yet upgraded to 15).

So you mean that if we move to BPC SP Level 15 and keep BW SP Level as 07 then we might have inconsistency ?

Yes, some issues possible... I remember number of MDX related bugs that are fixed in the resent BW SP...
