Custom field in posting item text

Dear All,

How can a custom field be made available in posting text?

Scenario:

We have created a custom field "Journey Type" in the mileage screen but we can't use this new field to be sent in the posting item text. Our client need to differentiate the GL account of the mileage dependent whether is within home town or outside home town.

A custom field can be mapped into posting item text from the below steps.

1. You will have to create an extension field per PDI

2. Secondly, you have to configure the UI.

    In order to configure the UI

          • Go to the Travel Admin work center

          • Go to "Configure Posting Item Text" under common tasks

                         extension fields look like CUST_HEAD-1
