Binning creating bins 2 & 3 instead of 1 & 2

Im running the PAL Binning algorithm and it is working as expected ... almost 😊

The bin numbers 'created' by the alogrithm into which the datapoints are assigned are 2 & 3. I could live with this, but it would be easier (and makes more sense to me) if the first bin would always be 1. Hence, instead of 2 & 3 the bins would be 1 & 2.

Is there an explanation for this behaviour?

System info: HANA SP8 Rev 81
