Hi experts;
In our company we have acquired PCM, and before implementing, we want some information about how it works , could any of you ( internally ) give me some tips?, some company in USA and from productive sector?

If you are planning to try to install and develop the model on your own / with your company team members I strongly suggest you have an initial look at:

C - All the SAP Notes that you will need for sure related to PCM (you will need a SAP username and password)

This should give you a good overview of the tool and the installation steps.
But from my point of view there are other very important and critical elements in need to have ready to be successful with an SAP PCM project:
1 - Make sure you have clearly defined the objectives for the SAP PCM model(s);
2 - Have the right IT hardware ; infrastructure ready and available;
3 - Make sure you have people in your project team from Finance; Operations and IT;
4 - Define the outputs clearly
5 - Provide the training to the key users (Admin; Model Builders; End-Users)
Having someone with previous experience in both the technical and functional areas of PCM will help you to speed up the timeline of your project.
