Unable to create Bex query on Transient provider

Hi All,

I have created one transient provider in BW client in ECC system.

Now, I tried to create Bex query on this provider, when I am trying to open Bex query designer it is asking for system login, I have selected ECC then I have entered the credentials, but designer not allowing these ECC credentials.

When I tried with BW credentials it is working finr, but my provider is available in BW client in ECC system.

Could some one let me know how to create Bex query on Transient provider.

Hi,

Have you fullfilled the prerequisites for reporting on transient provider?

Steps are:

• Make sure you are at Ehp 5 or greater
• Modify BWMANDT in RSADMINA table to be the same as your ECC Client (FM RSCC_RSADM_ACC can be used)
• Run Program RSRTS_ACTIVATE_R3IS

After that a BI client should be activated inside your ECC. You can now use RSA1 for example.

Next thing is to make sure your transient provider is generate for Bex.

• Goto transaction SQBWPROP and select your InfoSet -> save and generate.
