Shopping Cart Error

Hi Sap Gurus,

I'm getting the below error when i'm creating the shopping cart in sap srm (We are using SRM 7.01)

I have also observed that Purchasing Group is hidden/not available on the shopping cart line item details tab.

Hi Sanjay,

It appears that the product category or user organization used in the shopping cart does not have a PGrp responsible for it.

It can be seen in the TCode: PPOSA_BBP

The process for determining the Purchasing data for a shopping cart line item is:

1. User Creates a Shopping cart for a product Category.

2. System picks up User’s department from organization structure.

3. This department is available in the organizational responsibilities of the Purchasing Group (one or more) in the org structure. If the department of the user is in the organizational responsibilities of more than one purchase groups, system will pick both the purchase groups.

4. From the purchase group, purchase organization is derived by the system from org structure.

Sorry for the very late reply and thank you for responding... We fixed the issue, issue is related to the ID which we are using. Security team has fixed the issue.

Hello Sanjay,

Hope you are facing problem with your userId position assignment. please edit the ORg.struture(T.Code: PPOMA_BBP) and drag your userID to some other Org Unit + SAVE and  Once saved the Org structure , again drag back to your original Unit + SAVE. It may works.

Or

Please check the Extended attributes tab for Unit properly assigned or not.
