SAP HANA Cloud Platform Mobile Services corrupted

Former Member

Hi,

After experimenting with trial Mobile Services I am stuck with a cockpit showing a connection counter that shows 4 connections.

But actually I have only 1 visible connection that I can use/edit. The app does not connect to the cloud anymore.

How can I delete the (non-existing/corrupt) connections? Or can I reset/delete my trial account and start all over again?

Kind regards,

Raymond

Hi Raymond,

This is very strange behavior of HCPms.What exactly do you see when you click on "Connections"  ? Can you share the screen?

Let us hear more from

Sure, here is the screen. You can see there is only 1 connection listed while the connection counter says 4. I think this is the reason the app does not work. We tested the same settings with another S-number and that app works. I really hope someone can explain why I seem to have 3 additional connections somewhere.

Kind regards,

Raymond

Go to applications>select each application >Configure>Backend

Scroll down > Do you see any backend connections detail over here?

Hi Jitendra,

There is only one application. Here are the screen shots of it's connection details.

This is the testapp connection, the same as I as the one in the screen shot I send yesterday.

Hi Raymond,

Could you please go to your Services, select SAP HANA Cloud Platform Mobile Services, Configure destinations?

Please let me know how many destinations are available under it.

Hi Abhishek,

I have 1 destination. This is the same one as I see when I got to my services -> Go to Services -> press the connections tile. So the tile says 4 and it shows a list of 1 connection.

Hi Raymond,

Could you please check your application and see that how many connections it has from Applications window?

Goto Applications --> Select your application --> click on Backend and observe the list of connections used below.

Hi Abhishek,

Also only 1 connection. Please see my response (with screen images) to Jitendra from 2 weeks ago.

If you want to you can temporarily use my trial account to solve this issue.

Hi Raymond,

Is it possible to provide access to my user temporarily to your Admin UI. if yes then please add my user under Services --> SAP HANA Cloud Platform Mobile Services --> configure roles --> add me into Administrator role and also go to subscriptions --> hcpmsadmin --> roles --> HanaMobileAdmin and add my user. Also click on hcpmsadmin under subscriptions and click on "Edit" for Application Permissions and map HanaMobileAdmin permission to HanaMobileAdmin role.

Hi Raymond,

Could you please check now? For me, its showing only 1 connections.

Maybe it was cached.

Hi Abhishek,

Thanks a million! I see one connection now. I will try if the my app works later today. Can you please tell me how you did it. Is it something I could have done myself?

I just check my app and it works perfect. Thanks again. Please let me know what was wrong and if I could have prevented it or solved it myself.

Hi Raymond,

As I mentioned above it could be due to cache.

Hi Abhishek,

Even I am facing the same issue. It is showing me 3 connections. But when I go inside connections it is showing 2. Even if I delete any connection also, it is not getting removed from the list.

Is there any way that I can delete the cache from my end?

Regards,

Dhani
