Hi Experts,

Currently, we are in the middle of implement LSO integrated to ESS MSS portal.

We have requirements in order to migrate all training history from existing system into SAP system, so all employee is able to see the entire training history on portal.

Please advise what is the best practice in order to migrate all training data into SAP system.

Thanks.

Regards,

Johan

Assuming that Personnel Admin (or the employee master data) and Training Management (LSOTM) has already been implemented.

The data migration tasks for LSO can be accomplished via LSMW. You have to create relationship records (HRP1001) between Courses (E) and Persons (P) i.e. Course 'is attended by' Person.

Cheers

Best method I've found is to develop LSMWs for each infotype, and use PP02 to create each record.  E.g., if you have 500 courses, you would create 500 i1000 records, then the appropriate i1001 relationship linking the course type to the course group, the imparted qualification, the prerequisite of the course, etc. etc.

To create course history for persons, as Stephen mentions above, the personnel records must first be loaded into your environment, so sequencing amongst the larger HR team will become key.
