Hi All,

I am working on SMP 3.0 platform and using Service Manager 4.1 application. The server is running fine in the development environment.

We installed the server in staging and deployed the standard application in the server.

When we restarted the server it gave us the below error in the startup.log file

05:54:35 01/05/2015: Initializing Java-Java from ag3javabe.dll

05:54:35 01/05/2015: Java: Reading configuration information.

05:54:35 01/05/2015: Java Back End: Initialized.

05:54:35 01/05/2015: Java Back End: Java Virtual Machine already initialized.

05:54:51 01/05/2015: Failed to init Java Back End (Java v7.0.3.205) from ag3javabe.dll

05:54:52 01/05/2015: Event: 20, 153, Finished loading Production application definitions for default localization

05:54:52 01/05/2015: Event: 20, 151, Finished loading Production application definitions using file "SAPCRMSM-v1-0-0-app"

I want to highlight that we have forgot the SMP service name and have reset the password before deploying the application. Can this create any issue ?

Also I have found certain details in forum like - to check the classpath in environment variables for which I have already asked the team to check

Please let me know If anything else needs to be checked to solve this issue.

Thanks

Hi Neha,

Please make sure your backend BC Set is active for Service Manager 4.1 application. Go to transaction SCPR20 and activate BC Set "/SMCRM/SAP_CRMSERVICE_MGR_41_REF" if you are not done this step yet. Also new version 4.2 is released for CRM Service Manager application as part of SMCRM 610_700 SP04 release, you may want to try the latest release as it has more features and fixes.
