Mail Adapter: Server Virus checking & Filtering

Dear Experts,

For sender mail adapter, if the mail server has configured a filtering (accept only email with maximum size of 2mb) and virus checking. Will the filtering & virus checking applies to the emails sent to the inbox of configured PI sender mail adapter?

I think it is possible to filter the incoming email to XI based on the subject, etc using the following way;

If this mail box is running on the exchange server wherein you've configured the rules (accept only email with maximum size of 2mb) and virus scan then Yes. it should.

Easy way to test is by sending a test mail with more than 2 mb attachment.  You should receive a non-delivery report.

Yes, you can
