How to hide fields in PC00_M99_CIPE

Inorder to cater the situation which Remi just pointed out - 

Creating Program Variants to hide some fields from the Selection Screen still enables the users to use these fields if they do not select the defined variants.

you can use "Transaction Variants and Screen Variants" functionality tcode is SHD0. This will call default variants every time that tcode is executed irrespective of the user. In other words you can setup default variant here.

Even if you create a "Default Variant" for a program, and that this variant is automatically selected when the User activates a transaction, wouldn't it still allow the Users to use other variants and to create variants where that field is not hidden?

Yes Remi that's still possible but I feel this can be managed by giving proper work instructions and user manual to the users rather than modifying the standard program.

PC00_M99_CIPE can initialize your variant

It is coded in the include RPCIPE0S either you have to check any enhancement option available nor create custom.
