Hi All,
I have a cross tab report having some columns.
But when the length is not enough my columns are cutting.
I need to apply can grow which is disable.
Please suggest
Hi,
Crosstab fields will not have "Can Grow" option as the crosstab automatically tries to adjust based on the values.
Can you share the screenshot?
Thanks,
Raghavendra

Hi,
If you opt for Landscape page layout, you can accommodate more width for each of those 3 fields.
But in case you don't want to do that, you have to increase the width manually as Abhilash suggested as in attached sample report.
I have modified the formulae to include 50 characters as you can see in the output.
Thanks,
Raghavendra
Like I said, only workaround is to manually increase the height and width of the summary cells.
Since you're always going to have three columns, you should create a Manual Crosstab as outlined in this example:
Crystal Report - Mock Crosstab
or this (Crystal report for Enterprise):

Hi,
Yes as Abhilash explained it's just increase in the height of Summary fields and this will accommodate approximately 60 characters.
If those 2 formulae are going to have more than 60 characters, again, the text will be cut.
So, if you still need "Can Grow" option, then as per Abhilash's content, you have to go for a mockup Crosstab.
Thanks,
Raghavendra
Hi Divya,
The functionality does not exist at the moment.
Please go ahead and vote for this Idea :
Only workarounds available at this point:
1) Manually increasing the size of the field
2) Building a Manual Crosstab. A Manual crosstab, however cannot have dynamic columns, so you need to know how many columns your crosstab will have as they have to created manually.
