soamanager - consumer proxy

Hi,

I am new to PI and trying to implement note 1361688, but want to make sure i don't break anything in the process! Any help greatly appreciated.

If i select a consumer proxy from the list below, and line is highlighted, may i then click on "apply selection" to display this proxy?

Also, any ideas as to how i find out which Proxy is at fault?

Hi Glen,

I'm a bit confused, you are in PI or not?, in your post you are talking about the PI but you don't need the soamanager transaction to do a proxy between an ABAP system and a PI system, could you clarify this point?

Hi Inaki,

What i need to do is to adjust the logical port in soamanager to avoid the WS-A header. There is a field for Message ID transfer which I have to change to "SAP Message ID". I am not sure how to do this but have been recommended to follow note 1361688.

The steps in this note are as follow:

1. Start the SOA Manager with TCODE soamanager,

2. Search for the consumer proxy,

3. display the proxy definitioin,

4. Select the logical port,

5. Choose the tab "Messaging",

6. In the DropDown "Message ID Protocol" select "Suppress ID Transfer".

Hi Glen,

You can definitely try and follow the steps mentioned in note.

But there is another TCODE LPCONFIG,which you can enter in PI system and do the changes in your logical port.You just need to know your logical port name and proxy class.
