Hi Guru's,
I am implementing SOP at my client. They gather requirement of material at sale office level. From all sale office they gather all data and prepare one centralize data for manufacturing plant (one manufacturing plant).
1. Which one Standard SOP Ya Flexible planning is better?
2. how to consider existing stock during sale plan preparation ?
3. Capacity planning is possible in flexible planning for production of material at production line?
Please guide.

Hi Kumar,
Please explain the step by step procedure for stock consideration in SOP.
For Ex. PrductGrpop - Material01
This Material01 have 50 (Liter) as existing stock. For month of Jan, 15 the sale qty is 100 (liter).
So it will create production plan of 50 qty & transfer this production plan to MD61.
So Client can sale to its customer total 100 qty from existing 50 (liter) & 50 (Liter) from PIR.
How to Map this process in SOP?
Whichone is better Flexible planning Ya Standard SOP?
Thanks for Guidance.
Hi,
Create a new Info structure with three key figures say..Sales, Stock, Production Plan...through MC21...
when you create a planning type for the above info structure create a Macro like this
Production = Sales -- Stock.
This will fulfill your req.
Process Flow....
Create info structure – MC21
Activate the info structure – MC22
Assigning the planning parameters to the info structure. – MC7F
Creation of Planning Hierarchy – MC61
Creation of planning type and Macros- MC8A
Calculate Proportional Factors – MC9B
Planning in the planning table – MC93
Copy planning version - MC8V
Transfer planning data to demand management – MC90
Check the below link...
Thanks
Kumar
Hi Kumar,
Client have 10 Sale office & they collect demand for material at sale office level. Around 5000 material for sales planning.
After that they centralize the all data manually at manufacturing plant
Which Characteristics i have to consider Sale office Ya manufacturing plant?
For Planning hierarchy it only consider 15 material but client have 5000 material.
Please guide.
Hi,
In flexible planning, you can choose the organizational elements. In your case, you flexible planning and choose the sales office and plant so that aggregation / disaggregation can happen at any level.
Also, SOP is not for generally used for detailed level planning. It is better if you use lowest level as product group level. Sales team cannot give you a material-wise long term plan. The max you get will be at a group level only. So, instead of 5000 materials, your list will be much lesser.
Thanks,
Prem
