Delimiting position when employment status is Inactive

Dear All,

I have a requirement, wherein the employment status of an employee is changed to 1 (Inactive) for a certain period of time. The system does not automatically delimits the position to which the employee was assigned. Even if I manually change the position to 9999999, it shows the Pop msg in IT0001 of delimiting the position, but I can still see in PPOME, the position still being assigned to the same employee.

I have noticed, the positions to which the employees are hired, the vacancy status is not changing automatically to C. Maybe, this is allowing to hire 2 ppl in the same position, which should not be the case.

My requirement is:

When an employee's emp status is changed to "Inactive", the position to which he/she is assigned should become 99999999 i.e. no position assignment.

Secondly, when the same employee joins back from the leave, he/she might get assigned to different position within the same Org unit. Hence, the same emp should not be shown assigned to the old position.

Please help.

    I need to do this, coz, when an employee comes back and his emp status becomes "Active" he will be assigned to a different position and the position to which he was assigned, will get mapped to someone else.
