System freezes when using posting date of prior fiscal year

Former Member

Business One freezes and requires restart when entering an A/R invoice with a posting date of a prior fiscal year.  I have made sure the document due date, in posting periods, has been exteneded into the current year.

For example:

current system date is 1/4/15 and trying to post an A/R invoice with a document date of 12/31/14.

Any help is appreciated

Withour ID and password, not possible to acces above SAP note.

1. Is it happening for all users/work stations?

2. Check your posting period status

Yes all stations/users and checked posting period status for 2014-12.  Extended due date & document date to 1/31/15

Not sure if this helps, but the system is trying to display the message of "newly entered posting date relates to another posting period. Do you want to update G/L accounts accordingly?"

I understand the matter of the message.  I was reporting that the system crashes/freezes when I enter the document date of a prior year and the system tries to give me this message.

thanks

After a couple days investigating,  I believe this to be a local computer issue.  I have one workstation that I do not get any freezes on.  I have tried to duplicate the setting on that workstation to others, such as Internet Explorer version & Windows version.  I have also disabled firewall and malware protection.  Still get the freeze up on other workstations.  Any suggestion to settings on local computer.  We use SAP in an OnDemand environment through remote desktop connection.

Thanks

Josh
