SAP Outbound and Inbound configurations required

Hello Team,

Currently we have an existing PI landscape present of version 7.11. Now as part of PI migration, we need to move all interfaces to new PI system 7.4 dual stack.

In this regard, would like to know what configuration changes are required on SAP ECC side to shift the pointer from old PI system to new PI system to execute Outbound Interfaces (IDOC,Proxy and RFC) and Inbound Interfaces (IDOC,Proxy and RFC).

If I am correct RFC destination only needs to be created/changed and there is no need to change/add any thing in WE20 (Partner Profile creation) and WE21 (Port creation)

Can you please tell if there are any changes required

Hi Naresh,

For IDOC connectivity the simplest way to change the RFC destination setting and point to new PI server.

For Proxy connectivity

1. change the SLD configuration SLDAPICUST to new PI SLD (if applicable)
2. Point RFC destination to new server
3. check the SXMB_ADM configuration for integration engine (if it is using url instead of RFC destination)
