Hello Mahesh,

There is no possibility of replicating attachments via integration. Its not possible as a part of standard integration content delivered by SAP.

Thanks Swaroop for you response.

But still i am wondering we can have some work around to do a physical attachments to accounts/products into c4c. i guess we can do it with webservices or Webdav integration any one tried this way ?

Thanks,

Mahesh

Hi Mahesh

Yes - you can.  We do support attachments with some objects in the integration, but only with the CRM integration, not the ERP integration.  Even with CRM, the attachments are more on transaction data and not master data like what you need.

If you have a webdav server we have integration using webdav.   In our how-to blog there should be a guide on webdav, additionally it is also at https://service.sap.com/cloud4customer

If you are using integration with SAP Jam - there are some neat things you can do with jam work patterns that could also be used if you can get the ERP attachments available to jam.

I think one question is who will own these attachments for you moving foward - could I attach something to a customer in C4C that the ERP person should be able to see?   Or is it all the ERP documents should be available to the cloud end user?   On other option is to have some type of a mashup that exposes them.     I'm not sure we've tried that, though.

Others may have some tips/experiences as well.

I guess once we are done with the Webdav integration, user has to go to individual product and select the attachemnt from webdav folder (which is linked with your box.com etc.. ).

where as i am looking for a solution is there any way we can automate the load process to attach the documents.

i found only one way is doing it with webservices.

Thanks,

Mahesh Gattu
