tpm1 valuation

Hi,

Presently we have 100 fixed interest bonds. we want to valuate for compare with market price and purchase price.

When i run TPM1 the following error was appeared.


No book value exists for the position



Where to maintain the Market Prices


For Example at the time of Purchase Price % was 105.13


At the time of valuation date Price % is 106.14



The bonds are not listed any exchanges.



please advice me

Hi,

You can enter the Security Prices in FW17. FW17 always stores market prices based on Class and exchange. In your case, you can define a dummy exchange and assign it in your ID and then maintain the prices based on the Price type (Spot, bid ask etc) maintained in PMP or company code settings in TRM. TPM1 will always refer to FW17 for security Valuation.

Hi,

My original requirement is

We are using one currency INR

My client is investing in G Sec with variable price quotes. Price quotes changes every second.

On  month end,  they want to know the total value of the G Sec.

Presently i am using TPM1. Is it correct.

Hi

Please see the which pmp has assigned  to the product type which you are using...and which valuation procedure has assigned to pmp ..put exchange type as dummy there.And put the same exchange type in OB08 t-code  maintain the date.

Other than M
