Hi Experts,
My portal version is 7.4 and ecc 6.I have created the transaction iview in the portal and when I try to open the iview I am getting the below popup
after clicking on open I am getting the below popup
After clicking on Allow the tcode is opening in the new window.I am getting the popup every time when I click on the iview to save the tx.sap file .
-->Other transaction iviews are working fine without any popup's.
-->GUI is installed in my machine and deleted the cookies and cache in the browser.
-->I have the access to ecc and I logged in to the tcode and checked everything is ok.
Can anyone help me to fix the issue. The problem is only for one transaction iview remaining transaction iviews are working fine.
Thanks and regards,
Mahesh
Hi Mahesh,
It seems that you've maintained the 'iview type' property as 'SAP GUI for Windows'.
You can change it to 'SAP GUI for HTML' and check if that helps.

Anurag,
THank you so much for pointing me to right solution.SAP GUI type is the issue , After changing the SAP GUi type to HTML its working fine.
I am confused because both PA20 and PHAP_PREPARE tiviews I have created using Iview from remote source and PA20 iview by default took HTML and other problematic iview took Windows as SAP GUI type.
Anyways thanks everyone for the help.
Hello,
in your transaction iView check the parameter
Technique for starting SAP GUI for Windows
that must (should) be set on Structured Storage Document
I think there is a note about this.
Best regards.

Hello Mahesh,
Were you able to solve the issue with the note from Tom.
Try reinstalling your SAP GUI on your system. Also you can try to delete the file extension tx.sapssd from your folder oprions in windows explorer.

Hi Mahesh,
I was just about to ask you to reach Microsoft for this issue, until I reviewed again the initial description and noticed your remark "other transaction iview are working fine without ANY popups".
1. What's the difference between "problematic Transaction iview" and "other transaction iViews"?
- Are they pointing to same backend system / client?
- Is the behavior consistent (creating same Transaction iView, problematic or fine ones)
2. Is any of backend ECC system in/out of the trust site list?
BR, Tom
hi Tom,
THanks for the reply.
1. What's the difference between "problematic Transaction iview" and "other transaction iViews"?
There is no diff, I mean both are standard tcodes. for ex I have created for PA20 t iview its working fine and phap_prepare_pa tview is not working properly.
-->Both the Tiviews are pointing to the same backend and same client.
2. Is any of backend ECC system in/out of the trust site list?
No I am unable to add the portal or backend to trusted sites because it's allowing only https sites in the IE.
Any other solutions @Tom
Hi Mahesh,
Also could you check on the protocols like WebAS, ITS etc in sys obj properties.. usually it should be http.
Since the working and problematic iviews are pointing to same SAP system,
To check where is the issue, try to point the problematic tiview to the system object of the iview which is working ( in your case point tiview of PA20 to system object of phap_prepare_pa)
If its not giving a pop up now may be you can compare the system obj properties of both.

Hello Mahesh,
Try to check tht Remember my decision option once you get that pop up. Next time you should get through.

Could you check this note:
604324 - Internet Explorer: The Open/Save popup can't be unprompted
