CHanging Confirmation number - running number logic

Currently, confirmation number is per production order per operation. Thus no matter how many confirmation i've done for the prodcution order under that operation 10, the confirmation number would still be the same.

Is it possible to change the logic, where it would increase based on the number of confirmation i;ve done for a production order?

Could you brief why do you need confirmations this way?As per standard confirmation no. will be generated once but for every confirmation,system creates counter.

No, it's not possible to change this logic. This field is widely used on the PP programs and they are designed to work with the same number. Confirmations are stored on table AFRU and here you will also find a confirmation counter, which is increased after each confirmation.

Hi,

I would like to have an unique confirmation number for each confirmation performed. Thus when i'm doing GR for that confirmation, i would be able to insert the Confirmation number at the MIGO tcode. This would allows me to link that GR with that Confriamtion Number with the related component and batch being backflushed

This logic does not exist on the standard system. You can use the confirmation numnber + the confirmation counter to have an unique reference to each confirmation, but there is no field to input this information on MIGO.

As Caetano already mentioned there is no provision in standard to change this behavior so I suggest if you would like to link confirmation number with MIGO for each confirmation then you can enter Confirmation number+Counter in MIGO text field which can be used for reporting purpose too.
