Hello,
I am facing an issue with Rule 10000144 which pertains to determining sales areas for business partner as per master data
The Business Partner has only 1 sales area which is maintained
However when I go to rule simulation and enter my business partner 1000003, the system displays all the sales groups which are not assigned in the business partner master data, also the specific sales area which is assigned to the business partner does not get determined
Please advice how will the system populate only the specific sales area which is assigned to the business partner as per the second screen shot
Kind Regards
Atul
Hi Atul,
I think there are two possible places you need to check.
1. In Rule along with "partner", You have given " Process Type " also. There in Rule simulation, add one mole line for "process type" also and try to execute.
If possible create a test rule with only "partner" , assign it to transaction and try to execute.
2. and when we use attribute "partner" system checks for the partner in Organization attributes. so fill the partner (our scenarion Sold -to -party) and try to execute the create transaction.
Either one of these testa will work.Based on that we can go a head.

Ravi

Hello Ravi,
Thank you for your response.
With regards to your points
1) Could you please explain with screen shots how to add process type in rule simulation below
2) With regards to Point No 2 where do I assign the attribute partner in ppoma_crm, I tried to do the same, however I cant find the attribute in ppoma_crm, can you please explain with screen shots
Kind Regards
Atul
Hi Atul ,
The organization determination rule will take all the sales org unit for which the sales area data of the business partner is maintained in the attribute tab ( Tx - PPOSA_CRM check for attribute for the sales org unit )
Hence you are able to see all the sales group in the determination rule .
So changes need to be done for the respective organization unit attribute maintained in organization model .

Hello Atul,
the org which u have assigned is 1522
but in the snapshot u have shown is 1511.
Please check in 1522 org whether Object to be permitted in transaction check box is checked or not.
Also under transaction type also check UNDER PROFILES:Partner function Org field: whether sold to party is maintained or not
regards
sai
