Header in layout of job casting report

Hi ,

  This issue is little weird . kindly help me out in solving it. A particular user, when run a Tcode for job casting report with particular variant, she is unable to view 3 column headings (Material name, etc). But the column contents are visible.

  But with same variant I am able to view all the headings. There is nothing user specific code written in the report.

She tried the same in different systems still she is unable to get those 3 headings.

We asked another successful user to try the same in her system . He was also not able to get the headings in that system.

I guess 2 things:

1. Her system is having issue.

2.Her SAP is not installed properly.

This issue is faced by few of her colleagues. Kindly suggest a way out.

Hi,

Check any user specific layout(in output) is set by default for her Id.

You can help changing the layout by adding other fields as well as required.

Hi Jayanti,

I have tried already. She had a wrong layout at first. I asked her to change to respective layout. I shared her screen and made sure that she is changing and saving it . But even after that she is facing this issue.

Hi Poovizhi,

check whether the old one is still the default. When she save the new variant, you can ask her to change it to default variant/ overwrite the exisitng default variant.

I checked that too. The layout is saved as her default. No issues with that.

Is she able to select the other fields from output?

Check whether in selection screen, any layout is specified? If so, program may pick that by default.

To me, it sounds like user specific layout problem only. Only thing, which I can think about is deleting all the layout varaints which are stored as user specific to her user id and then try again after logging off and login?

Hi,

She is able to change the layout columns also. When click on the change layout, we ll get a pop with 2 separated windows , one with displayed colomns and other with all coloumns. The name of those 3 coloumns is not available at all. It shows blank space in that particular area. For eg:

What she gets:

I will ask her remove all the saved variants and layouts as u said and try again. Can u suggest some other thing too?

Hi,

Is it maintainied as text symbol? Is she loginning in different language than you login? If so, text symbols are translated in the other login language?

She is also loggin in EN only as I do. But I m not sure about the text symbol part will check that too.
