MBEW Material valuation but in group currency

Hi,

Is there any table showing the inventory values/prices in group currency rather company code currency?

I know CKMLCR but the thing is that if a material is not valuated (no costing run for that material) at the selected period then the inventory price does not show in the table for the period even there is stock for mentioned material.

But in MBEW and also S_P99_41000062 it retrieves the inventory value with the latest PUP (e.g. maybe last costing run in 3 months ago).

So I wonder if there is such a table to use?

Thanks in advance!

    Jonathan,

Normally SAP only updates the valuation in the company code currency. You will need to use Actual Costing/Material Ledgers to manage materials in multiple currencies.

    Thanks.

    Jonathan,

I am not aware of a table that holds converted currency information.  We had a custom report written with selections for report currency, "which" exchange rated an the "valid on" date.

It solved a lot of problems.

Jonathan, Our report is "informational only" - no update, no changes to Moving average.

      Tables:

      In MBEW,

         use Price control  VPRSV

If VPRSV = V then use VERPR as the inventory value

If VPRSV = S then  use STPRS as the inventory value.

(divide this value by the Price Unit (PEINH) if you need a "per 1" price)

The valuation area for the material will link to the company code currency.

TCURR: Currency exchange rates. It includes:

Exchange Rate Type:  M, P, TLC, etc

         From/To Currency

         Valid from date

         Exchange rate

         Ratio

When I did this, I gave to the ABAP Team:

1 - a spreadsheet to represent the report that I wanted to see.  in addition to the moving average or Standard price in Group currency, think about including:

      • the inventory value in Company Code currency
      • possibly the inventory quantity on hand in each plant valued in CoCd currency
      • Value of inventory in group currency
      • (make the report useful)

2 - a mock up selection screen, which included

      • Material number(s)
      • Plant(s)
      • The Currency the report was to convert all values to.
      • Which Exchange rate to be used

I do not write code, but I do know that there is a "function module" for ABAP to use to write this kind of program.

ABAP did their programming and I had a report with in a week or two.

      Hope this helps
