How to handle the requirement of leave type not be combine while applying leaves.

Hi All,

We have three leave type Sick leave,Casual leave and Privilege leave and we don't want to combine any of these leave type while applying leave for Absence days in leave request . We have integrated standard webdynpro  application "HRESS_A_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_APPL".

Requirement : below validations need to apply on Check button functionality on leave request page 

1.when ever user creating leave request from portal for 5 days (01.12.2014 to 5.12.2014) for leave type Sick leave then one day before and one day after we should not be able to apply  leave for leave type casual and Privilege leave.

2. If we are applying leave for 5 days we should not be able to combine the and leave type(For Eg:3 days Sick leave and two days Casual leave).

Please can one share how can i approach this requirement.
