Message No XS806: No delivery to XXX.com , Invalid email address

Hi Experts,

One of our z-development sends email alerts to users based on PM orders. Based on satisfying predefined conditions, system will automatically select set of users (Defined in a Z table)

However suddenly we have found following error message in SOST

though the message states invalid email address, business has confirmed that the email address is correct and same user receives other email alerts

further analysis found that above messages appears only for messages with more than 100 recipients.

What should be the solution to increase the number of recipients

But we have done a program change to over come the issue.

Please contact with email Administrator. Configure the relay option in SMTP server.

but seems that the given SAP notes does not provide reasonable solution because error message states too many recipients

Hello,

Seems it's a issue from mail server/exchange server.

You can google it and I found for example in Micrsoft website the following:

"Too many recipients in the message" error in a non-delivery report in Office 365 ...
