Email Configuration

Hi,

Whenever there is status change in a ChaRM CD emails will be triggered.

So i configured actions in transactions; created one action definitions with following details:

Processing time - Processing when saving document and gave partner function(Partner Dependent).

Action deteremination and action merging

Determination Technology - Determination Using Conditions that Can Be Transported

Rule Type - Workflow Conditions

Action Merging - Max. 1 Unprocessed Action for Each Action Definition

Emails are triggerred for conditions.

My problem is, I want the sender of the emails to be the person who is doing the last status change.

Currently, mails are scheduled and send from the person who edits anything in the CD in a particular status.

Example, say the CD is "In Development" status and user 'A'  edits the description of the CD.

Then I go to the next status by clicking action of the CD. The sender of the mails will be user 'A' , while I want sender

should be me as I am changing the status.

Can this be achieved by configuration?

Hi, Ananya.

As I remember, the sender of an e-mail is determined by user which triggers shedule conditions.

What do I mean: your PPF action is sheduled when your user A sets the status "In development" (shedule conditions). This action is executed when you change status from "In development" to the next one (when it meets start conditions).

Check this, because I had the same problem several years ago, but I do not remember exactly the reason I discovered

Yes, you are correct that the sender of an email is determined by user which triggers schedule conditions. I want to know where is this configuration set?

Is it possible to add some condition so that the mail will be send from user who actually  changes  status instead of user which triggers schedule condition?
