Material Quantity Calculation Pharma


I have a Scenario in MQC as below. Pls suggest how to do this.

Process is Blending

FG-Blended Antigen

SFG-Bulk Antigen

While Blending the SFG Bulk antigen, I have to take certain % free PRP Impurities do no exceed above 5 %

I have kept this % free Impurities as a Characteristics and maintained in the class 023. this class is maintained in the SFG material.

FG: Batch Size 11880 ML

SFG -4 batches

FG cummulative result for the impurity should show as 3.11. if cumulative of all batch is more than 5% user will change the batch allocated in batch determination.

I tried achieve this though MQC, but not having this cummulative value calculated any where....

Experts pls suggest if any options

    Material quantity calculation is basically used to calculate the variable component quantities based on any Batch characteristics.

    But in your scenario you have Batch characteristic as % free impurities for which you are trying to calculate the cumulative % Free PRP,So Cumulative % Free PRP should be shown up in process order component overview so that it value can be calculated based on SFG 4 batches quantities and % Free PRP.

    I suggest create a dummy material for cumulative weighted% free PRP and Assign same material with minimum value in BOM and Test the scenario again.

      As I said earlier unless you have % Impurity which you want to have less than 5% should be assigned as dummy component in FG BoM along with SFG with least minimum value so that when you create a order in component you can see % Impurity for which you can calculate based on MQC Formulae and otherwise you can directly assign the % impurity in order itself.

      Try this way and See how it works.
