FTP Server Error

HI All,

I have one interface, i am using PO 7.31...

Here am getting below error..

Every 6000 see it is activated and status is Running and again it goes to error

The Below is the Error Description.

Please some body help out in this problem.

Hi Raj,

As your error is 5XX means you are able to connect to FTP server,so there's no problem from your side.

Possible issues can be:

  Your user does not have correct authorization to pick file.permission should be 777.so

   Clear all the files places already in the ftp (take backup) and test afresh after permissions are set 
   by basis team.

And regarding file zila ,you can download that from net and can use it v easily.

As you have configured the retry interval to "6000" seconds, it's trying to execute the previously failed action for every 6000 seconds.

btw.. 6000 seconds is huge.. you might want to reduce it to somewhere around 2-3 minutes.

Coming back to your error, it's unable to archive the file. Are you trying to archive on FTP server? Does this path exist? You can manually try moving the files using "filezilla" or any ftp utilities.

Can you share the screenshot of processing tab from your sender channel?

P.S. You don't need 777 permission (it's not an executable file). Usually 755 should be more than enough.

this is a running interface... 6000 sec is not a problem.

Please check the processing tab below.

because of one file all the remaining are in pending in ftp folder.

I am connect with FTP ppl they said all are good in ftp side they have all the permissions.

and please tell me how to push the data manually because i don't have any "filezilla" .Plz tel me the process..

You can simply search on google for filezilla, you'll find enough documentation there.

May be provided path could be wrong.

You can validate the folder path using command prompt if you fail to install filezilla

Hi,

My few cents:

1) Check if there is Free size in server for placing file

2) Please check the file properties like file permissions. Please put 777(full permissions)

3) Check if the FTP user is having permissions to place files in Archive dir

4) Stop and Start the communication channel once again.

5) If you still face the same file pickup issue, Stop the channel once and do some dummy changes, activate and then start the channel.

6) Check the CC cache status if its updated

Hi Raj,

Are you using FTP server? If my understanding is right you are using filezilla/other client and picking file from your system. If yes, you have check permissions of archive folder and path if maintained properly.
