Error Source ZXXX ZQ1CLNT200 Does not Exist

Hi All,

We refreshed our Quality system from Production and completed BDLS coneversion.

However, after that for few Data Sources we are getting the error - Error Source ZXXX ZQ1CLNT200 Does not Exist.

Source System Here is ZQ2 and not ZQ1 and same is visible in RSA1-> Source systems. Also in Data Sources, we can see that this Data source is active and connected to correct source system ZQ2.

However when we check the transformation, we cannot see the Data source connected to it - there is nothing connected beneath it.

We have tried running programs - RSAR_NEWDS_PSA_USEROBJ_CHECK and RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL but still its not solving the issue.

Any pointers please.

Hi Alok,

This is wrong mapping done by Basis during the Copy/Connectivity of Systems.

Basis should be able to give you the Right solution....the other Alternate is to Transport the DS from DEV.

Hi Amit/SVU,

Basis again carried out BDLS conevrsion but still issue still persists.

Data Source is active and pointing to correct source system (ZQ2).

However when I check the transformation in table RSTRAN I see the transformations are pointing to incorrect source system - ZQ1. This should be ZQ2

Please sugegst how to correct this. While trying to activate the transformation via program - RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE its not working.

Import the transformation again from Dev to Quality. That will solve the error.

Hi Amit,

If we import the transformations from Dev to Quality, the transformations in Dev would be pointing to different Logical System - ZD2 - so will it automatically be taken care by the transports to change to correct logical system i.e. ZQ2?

Also, do we need to also transport DTPs or infopackages also along with transformations from Dev to Quality?

Hello Alok,

You can just transport the transformation, since there the system definition is different. Also it should be OK after Transport is moved if not use BDLS again to rename the source.

Hi Alok,

Please try to activate the tranformation. Use program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

ALso, as you have mentioned everything shows correct values in Datasource and tables, probably you need a system restart for the changes to affect.

Hi Amit,

We have tried that too but still not helping here.

Transformations and Data sources both are active but the problem is - Data source have become

disconnected from transformations – there is no data flow upwards/downwards.

How can we correct this?

Hi Alok,

You will have to move the TRFN again from Dev. Create a new TR request and add TRFN to it and ,move to Quality .That should solve the error.

Is this case of only one datasource or you are having problem with all the datasource.

Make sure that RSLOGSYSDEST this table has ZQ2 source system available in it

Thanks for replying.

Yes the entry exists in table RSLOGSYSDEST for ZQ2 source system

This issue is only there for all Webservice data sources having ZQ2 as source system- rest all are working fine.

Hi Alok,

Not much I can help you with, But have you run the restore of datasource. Running BDLS on RSDS table might help you. Also check whether the entries in RSBASIDOC is as per the settings required
