phone format under business partners

HI All,

We are using SAP Business One 9.0 PL 14.  Under Busienss partner screen in General tab where Phone 1 Phone 2.

Currently we are entering like this

Phone1: 1111111111

Phone2: 2222222222

Is there any way once we enter the number in above format can it change automatically too

Phone1: (111) 111-1111

Phone2: (222) 222-2222

can we do any customization over here.  Can someone help us out.

Hi,

Yes possible to get desired format by means of FMS.

1. Create three UDF at BP.

2. Create FMS by using above UDF. refer below sample FMS.

Select  ($[OCRD.u_draw1]) + ' - ' +
($[OCRD.u_draw2]) + ' - ' + ($[OCRD.u_draw3])

3. Assign above FMS at phone 1 to get required format
