IDM UME Integration

Hi Experts,

I need to  load the users from AD to IDM and users should login to the IDM web UI with AD credentials.

For authentication purpose, without moving the user to UME, not adding J3E_Java_Only previlege to the user, Did any other methods are present.

Can  please suggest the steps to be followed to accomplish the above task.

Hi Jaya,

I haven't actually tried this but I know this is feasible with IDM. Please check the below standard document,

and see if it covers your requirement.

You can write a LDAP load job to write users from AD to IDM, then perform steps as described in the document.

Hi Jai,

Thank you very much for your  quick response and that doc helped us very much.

I have some doubts. Can you please help me on that.

1. How to find what are the ports in VDS are stared.

2. If any service running on some port in VDS, is deleted without stopping it, is it possible to stop that service and how.

3. After following the above Doc for AD-UME integration, we need to restart UME. Other than this we  need to do any other things to for password provision.

We need to login IDM user web UI with AD credentials. for that we need any other configurations.?
