From a client can we connect to different server.

Hi All,

I am using SAP B19.0 with PL13 with this configuration i have 3 B1 servers , In my laptop i have installed a client version 9.0PL13, can i connect to different server from client to work on different server. IF yes Please Guide me how to connect to different server.

Hi Bapi,

If all 3 B1 servers have the same PL, you can only work on one of them. You may change the server and refresh each time you access some others.

Thanks for your reply , yes it is in same patch level , but every time when i am running the client as administrator it is connecting to the same server again and again,

Could you please suggest me how to put different license server names so that it can connect to different server.

Have you tried by changing server name on SAP B1 Service manager?

You can try to change license server in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One\Conf\b1-local-machine.xml'.

AFAIK you can use one license server at a time. But you can have many SQL Servers registered with this LicServer.
