More than 1 company codes assigned to profit center CB3890

Hi all,

While loading Finance master data (object: 0profit_ctr) we are getting below error message in BW 3.5 system.

Could you please assist the solution.

Hi Mohit,

It's possible in SAP ECC to assign more than one Company Code to a Profit Center as long as the Controlling Area is the same. Functionally speaking you are using then Profit Center as a cross-company area of responsibility.

In this scenario Company Code as Attribute of Profit Center does not make a lot of sense because the Company Code assignment does not necessarily have to be unique. You could decide to remove it or fill it with an initial value.

Can you please make a screenshot of the detailed error message (double-click on the message)? Do you have particular settings in the InfoPackage? Does the error occur only recently or from the beginning?
