Hi Experts!
Do we have someone with experience using consistency report for forecast profiles (/SAPAPO/RMDP_FCST_PRPFL_CONSIS )?
Since we are working with generated forecast profiles, we are running /SAPAPO/RMDP_FCST_PRPFL_CONSIS report in order to
For us this report runs for half day, that is not really acceptable.
FYR current record numbers in the impacted system:
/sapapo/dp440p | 936850 |
/sapapo/dp440m | 0 |
/sapapo/dp440mp | 0 |
/sapapo/dp440c | 0 |
/sapapo/dp440cp | 0 |
/sapapo/dp_fcst2 | 165025 |
/sapapo/mf_head | 1269 |
/sapapo/mf_value | 17394 |
Has anyone got a similar problem? Can someone please suggest a possible solution?
Thanks,
Maria
Hi maria,
i did not have a similar problem, but what you can do is do some basic cheking.
check in SM12 if there are any lock entries.
Check the Global Work process in SM50 / SM66 and take the help of Basis folks.

Hi Maria,
Even though there are enough available work processess, you should check if its performing the updation in the same table for long. You should involve your db and basis folks. was there any upgradation done recently? or the job was always running for long?
or you can try to run this in the foreground in a quiet time.
Hi Rorie,
The report always ran for a long time, run time slightly increasing. It is not possible to run in the foreground due to 15 minutes allowance for dialogue processes. (Even if it would behave differently running in the foreground, we need this report as part of our standard scheduled jobs).
I was looking for someone who is using this report and possibly have no issues or had already found a workaround or resolution for the problem.
As this is a standard SAP report, I will need to ask SAP for their support anyways, just wanted to check via this forum first.
Thanks,
Maria
