Source system -SAP R3 Transportable

Gurus quick question,

I have a source which is connecting to SAP R3system.(BW devlopment).Do I need to create the similar source system in BW QA environment or can I transport from Dev to QA BW systems.

or Can I create RFC,Port definition,partner profile,Source system in the QA BW system also.

Please provide some tips.
