Creating program to pass file through UI or a background job

Hi,

I am a Functional Consultant. For any travel expenses reimbursement, our business pays through salary. There is a Z T Code, from where we download the file which has expense data and we upload this file into ADP.

This is basically for payroll integration with Travel Management. The current program used in system ZSERIDIAN (T-code: ZExpense) will down load the file from SAP for all the employee travel expense reimbursable in a specific file format that can be uploaded into ADP and get it through.

This is how the data will be loaded into payroll where the expenses will be added to salary of the employees and paid with the payroll run.

Now, I want to remove the Z T code and instead, we are going to use the UI or a background job to pass the file to ADP. I need to create a Functional Specification for this process.

Can anyone help me how to achieve this?

    Vijay,

You can create a Function Module (RFC enabled) using the same program without a transaction code. Pass the Function Module to your UI team to run as batch job.

Can you be specific? I want the details from a functional specification point of view.

Please explain step by step the entire process.
