daily work schedule with variant

Hi everybody,

I had a daily work schedule and now I copied it with some changes in it and saved with a variant (M). I created a period work schedule and chose daily work schedules with variant in  it and set work schedule rules in next step, at the end when I generate my new work schedule the  but variants are not displayed in the work schedule and the base work schedule without variant is set to calendar.

Does anybody know the problem?

Please go through the below document which explains about DWS and variant and how they get called in.

Please modify your configuration as per the functionality explained in the above document. I hope it will help you to resolve your issue.

Hi,

I deleted and regenerated the work schedule in pt01 but the variants are not  displayed while I'm creating the workschedule and also in pt03.

Share the steps you have done or check if you have completed following steps or not.

- V_T550A

- V_T550X

- T553A

- V_T508A

And you should make sure you have assigned a specific public holiday for the days you would system considers the daily work schedule variant.

As I described in my first post, I created the variant manually in daily work schedule definition as below:

so I think there is no need to create a rule for variant in V_t550X,I checked other steps and everything seems ok.

So how will system understand for which day(s) you would have variant day?

I mean how have you said which days must be in variant format?

may be there is misunderstanding for me , please clarify it for me,

I just made a little changes in the one of my main daily work schedules  and named it with a variant (M) then tried to form my period work schedule by this new DWS, and as I know if I name a DWS with a variant it is not possible to assign a DWS selection rule to it, isn't it?

Hi,

If you have already generated /created old work schedule without variant ... then delete it first i.e PT02..

& then create a new one with variant..

Give Variants name in alphabetical order say "A" & try it...
