BOM Archeving

Hi Friends,

This issue is belongs to BOM archiving.

My client gave the object CS_BOM and table stop..

He was asked

Analyze the program associated with archiving object and document the business

rules (RICE along with functional).

This archiving completely new thing for me. Please help me on this one. what Is our role in archiving

How to start the analyze and prepare the document.

If any person having the document please share me.

This is urgent.

Hello Manoj,

You could use Transaction SARA with object CS_BOM to archive the BOM.

All standard BOMs that are marked with a deletion flag can be archived via archiving object CS_BOM.

Please refer OSS note 150437 - ARCH: BOM archiving is available.

Also check note number 376650 , which give a program code which can set the deletion flag in all the BOMs.

Apart from that report RCBOMDEL which will delete all the BOM records from a client without archiving.

As said by Mr. rupesh use SARA T code
