Hi
I would like to know i had extracted standard data source say 2lis_03_bx data source and in bw replicated created flow dso and cube and now i would like to know 0material object will be there in dso as key fields and we had done direct mapping form r3 fields to dso objects but i am having 0material infoprovider say as infoobject with master data with attribute and text data sources and i am having some navigational attributes for 0material and i had done check box and i would like to know now 0material will extract data from r3 field or from master data please give me in detail so that it could be very much helpful for me.
Hi,
First you need to know about the concept of master data and transaction data. While loading into DSO from data source it contains only transaction data not master data. for 0material it loads only primary key and it wont load master data into it. for 0material master data you need to load using master data sourses.
for ex M001 is a material and it has navigation attributes are like 0COMPETITOR, 0DIVISION etc. when you load transaction data you will get only M001 in 0material. 0material_attr and 0material_text by using these two data sources you can load master data to 0material info object.
Thanks

Hi Sudha
Thanks for your answers but if i want attribute means i can select as nav attribute check box and load master data means i can get data directly so why the necessity again to read from master data.
