All servers are disabled after changing the computer name

Hi,

We have setup SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 1. And we are using it for Crystal Reports Server.

Last week the infrastructure team have changed the server's domain name and the computer name.

Earlier our system name was OSLCHOPSPROD now it has been changed to osg25.

After this, the servers and running other than the following. But all the servers are disabled. We tried to enable them but nothing worked.

1. AdoptiveProcessingServer
2. ConnectionServer
3. ConnectionServer32
4. WebApplicationContainerServer

We are getting the following error while trying to generate the reports.

"com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKServerException: All the servers with CMS osg25:6400, cluster @OSLChopsProd.osg.com:6400, kind cms which host service null, are down or disabled"

Please give some ideas how to fix resolve the problem.

Hi,

Two things to check here -

1. Go to 'License Keys' section in CMC and ensure you have correct license key in place.

2. Create appropriate 'hosts' file entries for the primary IP address of the BusinessObjects server on the same machine.

It was happening because the license key got expired.
