Functional Area not updated in FAGLFLEXT

We are configuring the DEV System. While testing Functional Area Income statements, we realized that the Functional Area is not being updated in FAGLFLEXT. The 0L ledger has been assigned with Cost of Sales Accounting (FIN_UKV) and also that the cost of sales accounting is Activated..

Is there any known reason for this behavior?

Hi,

While posting with leading ledger, any P/L accounts are used for which the master data is populated with functional area. Also check which scenario is assigned to the ledger.

1. Functional Areas are assigned in the master data where ever needed. In Cost Centers and Cost Elements and GLs..

2. The scenario also has been assigned.

2. COS is activated..

I see postings to Functional Areas, but the Totals table is not being updated. I still don't have any clue as to why this is happening so.

Hi Ganga,

Have you run balance carry forward program for the GL in FAGLGVTR? If not, run it.
