Direct Conxão with MS SQL Server 2014 Express in VB.NET

Good morning everyone!

Why SAP Crystal Report has not made a direct connection to MS SQL 2014 EXPRESS as it has for the ACCESS and other managers for example ORACLE?

To make such a connection has to do a lot of breaking branches within the Application VB.NET and the CRYSTAL REPORT giving up like giving up SQL but like all my applications use it has seen, not as easy nor simple!

Now I wonder how I can make that connection because I've tried various methods and they do not have satisfactory results from anyone who can really help me, thank you, thank you!

You have to use either ODBC or OLEDb to connect to any SQL Server from Crystal.  Crystal is a 32-bit program, so if you configure an ODBC connection, it must be a 32-bit connection.  Also, you'll need to make sure that you have SQL Server Native Client 11.0 installed in order to connect to MS SQL 2014 - the default ODBC driver that is installed with Windows will not work with Crystal.
