How to create Relationship in GenIL Model for a Custom Entity

Hi,

For Creation of a New Entity,In Vendor Main Screen,I have followed the document from below link:

I have to add a new entity for CIN in Vendor Main View.

I have a doubt in Creating the Relationships .

Could anybody explain me while creating a relationship in MDGIMG->EDIT DATA MODEL & GenIL_Model_Browser for an entity what are the points to be noted?

In the document link,since they need to have a extend of entity at company code,so they have referred to BP_Compny.

In my case I need to Extend in the Main View of Supplier screen as like company code data,so I have assigned BP_HEADER to my new entity as a leading entity.

But I'm not clear with this,Kindly clarify............

Hi Jyothi

Your information is like confusing to me.

1. Are you want to extend new custom entity type in General Data?

If Yes then is any custom field with Check Table, If yes then need to define as SUT3 entity, if not then new entity type with SUT4 along with simple attributes in it (Without Check Table).

Releation of SUT4 custom entity type with BP_HEADER must be leading

1. Are you want to extend custom attribute in existing entitiy of General Data?

No Need to define any relationship as it is already existing

Hi Jyoti,

Yes if you are adding entity at Main Screen, you have to assigned 'BP_HEADER' as leading entity, if its inside ERP Vendor, you have to refer to 'BP_VENGEN' as leading entity, same for company code & Purchase Organization Entity.

For Genil Model Editor, you have to first create a Dependent Object for your entity & Then relationship for your Dependent Object.
